How to get a gold medal

Seeing as the Olympics start tomorrow, I thought would give the PBI Summer Campaign members a leg up on how to win a gold medal on myActions.org.

Here are the steps to take:
First, size up the competition on your team. (This is an internal contest within each individual team.)

Click on Teams.
Choose your current team, the one you are competing on for the PBI Summer Campaign.
Do you see the Action Heroes featured in nice little boxes across the top there?
That could be you!

You must become the member on your team who creates the most actions in one of those categories (Save Gas, Save Power, Reduce, and Help Others). The number of actions the current hero has done in that category shows in the box, so you know what you must beat in order to topple the leader.

When you go racing past the number of actions in a category held by the current Action Hero, you will achieve Action Hero status and your gold medal. You'll see a message in your results box announcing your achievement.

Your lovely profile picture will be beautifully featured at the top of your team page, letting all of your team members know of your action super powers. You will also have that gold symbol displayed next to your name in the actions stream. That way, you can show off your awesomeness to all of the myActions members to see.

Just to be clear, you don't get a real, physical gold medal. If you'd like to wear your Action Hero medal around your neck, you could always print the screen (using the back of another sheet of paper that already has something on that you don't care about.)

Cut out your Action Hero square and thread it onto a ribbon you kept from a gift you received. A ribbon you thought "I will keep this because I am sure I will have a use for it someday."
That day has arrived!
