The best way to get started is stepping through the "Getting Started" pages
We are working on native apps for both iOS and Android mobile devices. In the meantime, you can access myActions.org through your mobile web browser to create actions on the go!
There are currently four categories: Save Gas, Save Power, Reduce and Help Others. Hover over these categories to see a list of the available actions. We are fine tuning the list of default actions so if you don’t find what you are looking for, choose “another way” and tell us what you are doing.
Choose the very bottom question mark icon to create actions that we don’t have listed. Make sure to enter in a description—we love hearing about the new and creative sustainable actions you can come up with! If we something appear enough we might incorporate it as a default action later.
Most actions you can create are things you can do individually in your everyday life. A Big Action is something that goes above and beyond, involving more people, changing an institution, or requiring lots of planning and organization. Examples of Big Actions might include: getting your school to install recycling bins, organizing a beach cleanup, creating a Farmer’s Market in your community, or other big projects that you come up with! The bigger the better!

A campaign is a group of teams put together so that you can easily see their progress and foster some friendly competition. A campaign could be made up of teams within your school, community, or organization. A campaign might include existing rivalries like cross town high schools, or it could reflect similar kinds of groups such as nonprofit organizations.
Currently, you can create a campaign or simply place your team in the appropriate existing campaign.

We don’t. myActions operates on the honor system and the assumption that we all want the same thing, a greener planet. Your friends and teammates can see what actions you are posting so we are counting on them keeping you honest. Creating fake actions doesn’t help us reach the goal of carbon emission reduction, so challenge yourself to play fair and try some new actions that might make the world a better place.
